Dear NCSY GIVE WEST Families,
We are excited to announce that the NCSY GIVE WEST 2018 Reunion Shabbaton is coming REALLY soon! We hope you can all join us. This Shabbos is always a highlight of the school year and such a fun way to reunite with all of your new GIVE WEST friends! Below are all of the details.
When
November 2nd - 3rd, 2018, Parshat Chayei Sarah.
Where
Woodmere, New York. We will be davening and eating in Congregation Bais Tefilah (409 Edward Ave, Woodmere, NY 11598), also known as the Edward Avenue Shul. Our Shabbaton will begin with Mincha on Friday afternoon and end with Havdalah on Motzei Shabbos.
GIVE WESTers coming in from Outside the Tri-State Area
As Shabbos starts very early (5:32pm), please book your flights to land in JFK or LGA Airports on Friday, between 8am and 11am. Please book your return flight to leave JFK or LGA anytime between 8am and 12pm on Sunday. If the flight you would like to book does not meet the aforementioned criteria, we will be unable to provide pick-up and/or drop-off at the airport for your daughter. Uber is available from both airports if that is something you are comfortable with. Additionally, since the reunion officially ends on Saturday night, we will provide all of those flying in with housing for Saturday night. Please send me your flight information while booking so that I can make sure it is acceptable.
Housing
We will arrange housing for Friday night and Saturday night. If you are able to host, please indicate that in the form below. All homes will receive walking maps and we will organize walking groups home from meals.
Reunion Costs
There will be a fee of $80 for the reunion to cover use of the shul and catering. This fee does NOT include travel. If you would like to pay prior to the Shabbaton, please send checks to the NCSY Summer Office:
